The story of how the Ngā Puhi tupuna Rāhiri brought peace between his two sons, Uenuku and Kaharau, and divided up the lands of the Far North between them. Tūhoronuku was the traditional Māori kite (manu aute) used to mark the boundaries of the land. Suggested level: primary, intermediate. Relevant to levels 4-5 of the Te Reo Māori strand of Te Marautanga o Aotearoa.
