Summary: Double Take is the latest book from preeminent New Zealand landscape photographer Craig Potton. Ever since he started taking photographs he has often been inspired to take two images of the same scene, which with only a slight shift in the camera end up being very similar in composition and colour tone. This has often presented him with the question of what is the better photo. Double Take addresses this dilemma by presenting these near identical twins side-by-side. Mostly middle-distant forest interiors, these complex, immersive photographs invite the viewer to look again and again, to find subtle visual echoes and to appreciate the natural world unfolding in a new light.
