Crocodile tears / by Horowitz, Anthony,

Publication: London : Walker, 2009 . 425 pages ; 20 cm. Date: 2009

This book is a must have for any one who is into none stop, mindblowing adventures that will make you leap out of you'r seat and make you want to keep reading right until the very end. This book is about a teenage spy that haves to give everything that he possibly can to survive, you never know where life might take you, especially if you'r Alex Rider. The fun never stops, so I highly recomend that you read the other books in the series and see if you like them as much as I do. My favourite by far would have to be Crocodile Tears.

BUT ITS MOST NOT LIKELY BETTER THAN HUNGER GAMES. LOL. well that's my opinion

The weed that strings the hangman's bag / by Bradley, C. Alan,

Publication: London : Orion, 2011 . 344, 14 p. ; 20 cm. Date: 2011

I am really enjoying this series by Alan Bradley. Great murder mysteries in that English village style but such a feisty protagonist he has crafted in the heroine Flavia du Luce. A young girl with a passion for chemistry and poisons who gets around the country side on an old bike called Gladys. family relationships are a key to the background plus her nosiness and attention to details and knowledge of her world. Flavia loves to be one step ahead of the local police which gets her into dark places at times. I look forward to new titles.

Cow / by Sterchi, Beat,

Publication: . 408 pages ; 23 cm.

Loved this book though at times it brought me close to tears. Well written, very detailed and extremely graphic the story moves from a small dairy farm to the abattoir. It's a must read, especially for anyone living in dairy farming country. Added by Mary

A bit disappointing. A wonderful story with depth and intrigue but let done by historical inaccuracies - I found 5, how many can you find?
